Our Program Offerings
Our Lean Six Sigma programs are designed to take the fundamental Lean and Six Sigma principles and apply them to real world processes, problems, and data – ideally yours! We have successfully applied this strategy with numerous companies. This approach goes beyond the textbook and leverages our years of process engineering and Lean Six Sigma instruction experience to take the concepts and relate them to your work environment.
01.
LSS Yellow Belt
In the Yellow Belt course, we will: take a close look at lean and its application; consider options for project selection, scoping and planning; learn about process analysis and measurements; develop tools to identify and analyze problems and opportunities; and discuss how to advance implementation and improvement. Typical Format: 6 half day sessions over 1-2 months
02.
LSS Green Belt
Through the Green Belt course, we will build on materials learned in the Yellow Belt and explore: data and data collection; control charts and statistical process control (SPC); statistical analysis including data analysis, hypothesis testing, modeling and regression; additional/advanced lean tools; and implementation of these concepts to improve your real world situations. Typical Format: 10 half day sessions over 3-4 months
03.
LSS Black Belt
The Black Belt course is the most intensive offering, with a green belt pre-requisite, and an expectation that participants will build their knowledge through individual projects to be carried out in the “real world”. Some of the topics addressed will include: establishing flow and balance; process modeling design of experiments; optimal inventory policies; process control and process capability; and advanced statistical analysis. Typical Format: 10 half day sessions over 3-4 months

Custom Offerings
While the LSS program has defined levels, there may be ways we can work with you to tailor courses to the particular needs of your business and your employees. Contact us to discuss options.
Our Teaching Philosophy
To enhance and optimize the learning, we prefer to schedule the training as multiple shorter half-day to full-day sessions over the period of several months as opposed to concurrent training over a period of just a few days. Our approach allows time for both reflection and application, which we believe are critical in not just learning about Lean Six Sigma principles but actually using them!
Who Should Take These Courses?
The majority of our courses are arranged by companies for their staff in order to boost the company’s ability to advance its goals. However, upon occasion we open courses for general registration, when demand warrants. To be added to a waitlist for a general class offering, or to inquire about how a course can be offered to your company, please contact us.
